Another lonely castaway on a ship that didn’t want to be put out to sea. I can’t see any stars tonight I’m at the mercy of an unknown destiny. The waves are getting higher now and I’m losing sight of land. I can’t stop the fire that burns your name into the sand. I can’t live with you, can’t live without you I’m lovesick. Want you to be mine, throw me a lifeline I’m lovesick, lovesick! Looking into the eye of the storm I could have sworn I felt the undertow. I’m trying to stay afloat but my oars are broke and I can hardly row. The boat is rocking back and forth and it’s only getting worse. I’m looking for a great escape to escape this blessed curse. chorus My aching head keeps spinning, ’round and ’round and ’round. I need to get off this ship and hit dry land before it takes me down. Won’t let it take me down! The winds are blowing stronger now and I’m trying to keep my head. I gotta get back on course or I’m gonna wake up dead. chorus

Lovesick is a song that strikes at the heart of love, loss, and longing, and is sonically resonant with my hard rock roots. The musical and lyrical messages both begged to be delivered through a driving riff and rhythm section. So, they became the foundation for my lead vocal and guitar work, all played on my ’64 Fender Stratocaster.
Unforeseen changes have ravaged the music industry over recent years and accordingly, I feel that “for new music, the single is the new album.”
Embracing the digital revolution that has turned recorded music and the legacy music industry on its head, “Lovesick” is entirely self-produced.
